Is Cozy a chenille yarn?

No. Cozy is an 80% acrylic and 20% wool blend, not a chenille. The wool adds warmth and the acrylic keeps it soft, lightweight and easy to care for, with a plush chunky body that gives dimensional stitches.

What is Cozy best for?

Chunky cable cardigans and oversized sweaters, statement blankets and throws, and warm scarves, hats and cowls in the Grandmacore look. It is #6 Super Bulky, worked on 9 to 10 mm needles or an 8 to 10 mm hook. An adult chunky cardigan needs roughly 5 to 7 balls.

How do I wash Cozy?

Because Cozy is a wool blend, machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and lay flat to dry to keep the plush body full and protect the wool. Avoid direct ironing.

How is Cozy different from Estako MegaStar?

Both are wool-blend chunky yarns. Cozy is #6 Super Bulky and 80% acrylic with 20% wool, with a fuller plush body for cable knits and blankets. MegaStar is one step finer at #5 Bulky and 75% acrylic with 25% wool, quicker to work for everyday scarves and beanies.
