Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we’ve made returning products simple and straightforward.
Please note that your packages might be opened and retaped by your country's customs office for inspection purposes.

Faulty or Damaged Product Returns

If you receive a defective or damaged item, we’ll send you a replacement immediately at no additional cost.

1. Contact us by email at info@estakoyarns.com to request a return authorization.
   (We may require photo proof of the defect.)
2. Items must be returned within 30 days of receiving your order.
3. Once your return is approved, we’ll provide instructions for returning or replacing the item.

Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order anytime before it enters the packing and shipping stage.
To cancel, please email info@estakoyarns.com as soon as possible.

If your order hasn’t started processing yet, we’ll issue a full refund, including shipping costs.
Once an order has been packed or shipped, we cannot cancel or modify it.

If you’re not fully satisfied with a product, you may return it within 30 days of receipt for a refund or exchange.

• Products must be unused and returned in their original packaging, where reasonably possible. This condition applies only to our voluntary 30-day policy. It does not restrict any statutory right of withdrawal or conformity remedy available to you. See “If You Are in the European Union or the United Kingdom” below.
• Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is defective.
• Refunds will be credited to your original payment method.

Please allow several weeks for us to receive and process your return.

Patterns and Other Digital Items

Patterns are sent by email on the day your order ships. If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, that email carries a link rather than the file, and we ask you two questions before it goes out; starting the download from that link is what begins delivery. Everywhere else the PDF is attached to the email itself. Before delivery begins nothing has been delivered yet, so you can cancel the pattern and we will refund it in full.

Once delivery has begun, pattern purchases are final to the extent applicable law allows, and where the law requires it, only once you have agreed to us sending the file straight away and understood that doing so ends your statutory right to change your mind. Where we deliver by link, opening the email or the link is not enough on its own: delivery begins when you start the download.

This does not affect your rights if a file is faulty, incomplete, or not what we described. If it will not open, or something in it is wrong, email info@estakoyarns.com and we will fix it or refund you.

Yarn is unaffected: 30 days, as always. If an order contains both yarn and a pattern, the yarn keeps its full 30-day window even after the pattern has been delivered.

Legal Guarantee of Conformity: EU/EEA

In addition to any withdrawal or voluntary return rights described above, goods and digital content supplied by us are covered by statutory rights relating to conformity. As a minimum, EU/EEA-derived conformity protection applies for two years from delivery or supply, although the law of your country may provide a longer period or stronger rights. If goods or digital content are faulty, incomplete, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract, you may be entitled to statutory remedies free of charge. Our voluntary 30-day return policy is additional to these rights and does not replace or limit them.

United Kingdom

UK customers have separate statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where goods or digital content are faulty or do not conform to the contract. Our voluntary 30-day return policy is additional to those rights and does not limit them.

Complaints

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@estakoyarns.com. We will try to resolve your complaint directly. Where the law applicable to your purchase gives you access to a specific out-of-court dispute-resolution body, the details of that body and how to use it will be provided as required by that law.

If You Are in the European Union or the United Kingdom

In addition to the 30-day guarantee above, you have a legal right to change your mind about a distance purchase. In the EU this is the right to withdraw; in the UK it is the right to cancel. In both cases you have 14 days, counted from the day you or someone you name receives the goods, and you do not have to give a reason. If your order arrives in several parcels, the 14 days start when the last parcel arrives.

How to use it. The quickest way is the online form on our Your right to cancel page. It records your notice straight away and emails you a copy showing what you sent and the date and time we received it. You can also simply email info@estakoyarns.com and tell us you are cancelling, or post one of the model forms below. Any clear statement is enough, and you do not have to give a reason.

Opening the packaging does not cost you the right. You do not lose your statutory right of withdrawal merely because you opened or removed ordinary product packaging in order to inspect what you bought. You may handle the goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, in broadly the same way as you could inspect them in a shop. With yarn that includes taking off the band to see the true colour, feel the texture and look at the fibre. If you go beyond that, for example winding it into a cake, cutting it, working a swatch, or washing it, you may be responsible for any resulting reduction in the value of the goods, but your right to withdraw still stands.

What happens then. We refund you within 14 days of receiving your notice, to the payment method you used. Please send the yarn back within 14 days of telling us. Return postage is yours to pay, unless the item was faulty or not as described, in which case we cover it. We refund the standard delivery cost you paid; if you chose a faster option, we refund the standard rate.

Our own 30-day policy above is more generous than the legal minimum and stays available to you. Nothing here takes it away, and you may use whichever suits you.
