Here is what makers around the world are saying about Estako Yarns. Every review below comes straight from our customers.
Soft, wooly, and vibrant. A little pricey for the yardage, but the quality is solid. Great for hats, scarves, and fall/winter accessories. Love the color!

Bought it for my wife that free hand crochets. Unfortunately I'm allergic to wool...
Wife says good yarn, uniform colors throughout

The Estako Star-Worsted Yarn is a soft and durable 75% acrylic, 25% wool blend, perfect for cozy sweaters, scarves, hats, and more. Its medium #4 weight works well with standard knitting needles and crochet hooks for smooth, even stitches. Each 100g skein provides 170 meters of yarn. Certified OEKO-TEX safe, it’s skin-friendly and ideal for all projects, including gifts and wearables. great price point and this color is precious.

This yarn works up beautifully. I have not had any trouble with it splitting or fraying.
It is somewhat soft, but it not overly. It has a slight roughness to it.
The red is very pretty and is perfect for Christmas projects.
I think the price is a little high for the amount of yarn, but it is a higher quality than I normally buy. I am definitely enjoying crocheting with it.

This is very nice yarn, it’s softer with less yardage and quite a bit more expensive than the other wool acrylic blend I’ve used before. It doesn’t split and the stitch definition is good. I like the feel of it going thru my hands as I knit—no scratchimess. I would definitely use this yarn for projects. It’s squishy !

Exactly what you expect from a worsted weight yarn. Medium weight, durable, and versatile.
It is soft and glides through your hand smoothly while using and doesn’t split. I ❤️ the color!!
Great for crochet!

This yarn is very soft for a wool and acrylic blend. Many wool blends are scratchy but not this skein. It does not irritate my skin and I am very happy with how it feels.
The yarn worked up very well on my 5.5mm crochet hook and the stitches look beautiful in this yarn. I am making a beanie and it is gooding to feel so nice and warm for the coming cold weather.
The color is beautiful. It is named "oil blue" , but I think it is similar to a cobalt blue. Very nice and will go with most anything.

Beautiful dusty blue color yarn. Because it is a wool blend, is softer than 100% wool and doesn’t shrink. I gave this skein to my son who wanted to try his hand at crocheting. He is using a 3.5mm hook. So far yarn is smooth to work with and has not caught or tangled on itself when frogging.

I needed a red, worsted weight yarn that was 80% acrylic and 20% wool, or as close to that as possible, to finish a cardigan I'm crocheting. This was suggested as a very close match to the yarn I was using. It's 75%/25%, and is working up just as nicely. It's a beautiful true red color and it arrived earlier than expected. I'm very happy with it and would order from this seller again.

Beautiful warm eggplant like purple. Soft and smooth with crocheting. Strong acrylic blend yarn that handles tension changes well without splitting. Definitely within the worsted weight measurements, 5.5mm hook worked up a hat nicely with this almost 4oz. skein. Should be easy to wash and dry as well, hoping it gets a little fuzzed up from it too honestly because this would look and feel even softer with a bit of extra fiber frizz. Not priced too badly either. Shipped quickly for me too.

This yarn is soft and smooth to the touch. It seems quite strong and is big enough to complete smaller knitting or crochet projects. The color of green can be used in many projects, including leaves and stems for Christmas. Also, the color would make a nice edging on a multicolored afghan.

I haven’t worked it up into anything yet, but I was pleased to find that this is not an itchy wool blend. The color is very close to the product photo, and it feels on par with some of the other blends I’ve tried.

It holds together well and doesn't pill easily. Nothing super advantageous about it, but it should work as well as any other similar yarn.

This is a very nice yarn to work with. I am a knitter and always looking for new yarns to try. This yarn has a lovely texture. I like the fact that is a blend of acrylic and wool - I find that a larger percentage of wool can be scratchy to work with and in the finished item. The blend in this yarn allows for the quality of wool but the easy care of acrylic. The neutral color I chose will go with everything.

This yarn is absolutely gorgeous. This is a very soft, almost metallic colored light weight yarn. It is a very good quality yarn that works well for tight stitches. The yarn is easy to use and is easy to either knot off or weave the ends in. This yarn is almost floppy, with very little structure making it a fun one to use. I will be adding star-worsted yarn to my collection when I begin making clothes. It feels like it would be pleasant on the skin as a blanket or a sweater.

This yarn is lovely. The color is rich without bleeding dye, and it's very easy to work with. It doesn't shed and has not frayed on me. I've used it in my knitting machine, and it worked perfectly. I made a warm beanie with it that I wear frequently. I've gotten compliments on the color. I blocked it by washing it with baby castile soap and a light squeeze of hair conditioner, and once it dried, it was as soft as butter. I would pay full price for this yarn if I needed a skein in a pinch.

Sometimes you need some wool yarn but you just don't want to pay for all wool. This is a good yarn for plastic canvas projects. It has more sheen than 100% wool so you won't get the same matte look but it stitches up nicely and stays together well. It's easy to use and glides nicely. It's soft and durable and can stand up to the canvas. The color is vibrant and I'm happy with the thickness.

This yarn has the most gorgeous deep eggplant color! It's soft and extremely workable. Looks beautiful in any stitch pattern. This is a great weight for wearables. Nice yard and a good price.
